ECATEPEC, M\u00c9X.\u2013 Despu\u00e9s de a\u00f1os de abandono, cobros irregulares y espacios controlados por particulares, el deportivo Siervo de la Naci\u00f3n, en Santa Mar\u00eda Tulpetlac, entr\u00f3 oficialmente en proceso de transformaci\u00f3n con una remodelaci\u00f3n integral anunciada por la alcaldesa Azucena Cisneros Coss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La presidenta municipal dio el banderazo de inicio de las obras en uno de los centros deportivos m\u00e1s representativos de Ecatepec, donde asegur\u00f3 que el objetivo es devolver a la poblaci\u00f3n espacios p\u00fablicos gratuitos y accesibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEncontramos aqu\u00ed varios lugares que se usufructuaron durante muchos a\u00f1os, negando un derecho a la recreaci\u00f3n y al deporte a los vecinos de Ecatepec\u201d, declar\u00f3 la alcaldesa durante el arranque de los trabajos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Azucena Cisneros afirm\u00f3 que el deportivo reabrir\u00e1 en agosto completamente renovado y con acceso libre para la ciudadan\u00eda, incluyendo el uso de la alberca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEste deportivo es emblem\u00e1tico. En agosto estar\u00e1 abierto al p\u00fablico, terminado, remodelado, pero lo m\u00e1s importante, cuando abra todas las actividades que se lleven a cabo aqu\u00ed, incluida la alberca, ser\u00e1n completamente gratuitas. Nunca m\u00e1s espacios p\u00fablicos usufructuados para cobrarle a la gente, nunca m\u00e1s\u201d, sostuvo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El proyecto contempla una intervenci\u00f3n total de las instalaciones deportivas y recreativas. Entre las obras destacan una cancha de basquetbol con duela, pista de tart\u00e1n para atletismo, rehabilitaci\u00f3n del gimnasio y la alberca, adem\u00e1s de \u00e1reas de calistenia, juegos infantiles y renovaci\u00f3n del gimnasio de box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tambi\u00e9n ser\u00e1n rehabilitadas las canchas de futbol, basquetbol y voleibol, as\u00ed como la pista de skate park, el \u00e1rea de comida y el espacio para fiestas infantiles. El plan incluye adem\u00e1s la creaci\u00f3n de una zona de aprendizaje vial para ni\u00f1as y ni\u00f1os y un parque canino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trabajadores del lugar recordaron que el deportivo naci\u00f3 en 1990 sobre antiguos campos llaneros de futbol, luego de que habitantes de la zona evitaron la construcci\u00f3n de una unidad habitacional en el predio. Posteriormente el sitio fue convertido en espacio deportivo y m\u00e1s adelante recibi\u00f3 el nombre de Parque Bicentenario Siervo de la Naci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con el paso de los a\u00f1os, se\u00f1alaron, las instalaciones se deterioraron y perdieron el nivel que alguna vez distingui\u00f3 al complejo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La alcaldesa destac\u00f3 que el rescate del deportivo forma parte de una estrategia m\u00e1s amplia para recuperar espacios p\u00fablicos invadidos o deteriorados en distintas zonas del municipio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEstamos recuperando en lo largo y ancho del municipio muchos espacios p\u00fablicos, muchos deportivos, muchas cosas invadidas que hemos estado limpiando y que van a ser parques lineales\u201d, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mientras se desarrollan los trabajos, el deportivo permanecer\u00e1 cerrado al p\u00fablico. La administraci\u00f3n municipal prev\u00e9 concluir la remodelaci\u00f3n y entregar el espacio rehabilitado a finales de agosto de 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
