HUIXQUILUCAN, M\u00c9X.\u2014 Detr\u00e1s de cada cifra hay una historia de abandono revertida. Desde octubre de 2023 a la fecha, el Centro de Atenci\u00f3n y Protecci\u00f3n Animal \u201cHuixquican\u201d ha intervenido en la vida de 4 mil 967 perros y gatos, consolid\u00e1ndose como uno de los espacios m\u00e1s activos en rescate y atenci\u00f3n veterinaria en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El dato se sostiene con operaci\u00f3n constante: mil 155 perros han ingresado al centro en este periodo, mientras brigadas recorren comunidades con mayores reportes de animales en calle para contener riesgos sanitarios y atender casos de maltrato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La estrategia incluye control poblacional. A la par de los rescates, se han realizado 2 mil 396 esterilizaciones y mil 336 consultas m\u00e9dicas, con el objetivo de frenar la sobrepoblaci\u00f3n y prevenir enfermedades como la rabia o infecciones parasitarias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHoy celebramos los resultados sin precedentes que, en materia de adopciones y rescates, tenemos en \u2018Huixquican\u2019, demostrando que la colaboraci\u00f3n entre autoridades y ciudadan\u00eda es la clave para erradicar el maltrato y brindar una segunda oportunidad a los caninos que m\u00e1s lo necesitan\u201d, afirm\u00f3 la alcaldesa Romina Contreras Carrasco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El modelo tambi\u00e9n contempla reencuentros: 80 familias han recuperado a sus mascotas bajo acuerdos que garantizan su resguardo y evitan que vuelvan a la calle. Mientras tanto, m\u00e1s de 370 caninos permanecen en el centro, en espera de adopci\u00f3n, tras recibir atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, alimentaci\u00f3n y cuidados integrales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La operaci\u00f3n de \u201cHuixquican\u201d se ha convertido en un frente activo contra el abandono animal en Huixquilucan, combinando rescate, salud p\u00fablica y promoci\u00f3n de adopciones. Para quienes buscan integrar una mascota a su hogar, el municipio mantiene abierta la l\u00ednea 729 847 8223 y jornadas permanentes de adopci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
