ECATEPEC, M\u00c9X.\u2014 El lugar donde fue fusilado Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Morelos y Pav\u00f3n en 1815 acaba de quedar marcado oficialmente en la historia nacional: el barrio de San Juan Acalhuacan fue declarado \u201cSitio de inter\u00e9s hist\u00f3rico\u201d, en el mismo acto donde San Crist\u00f3bal Ecatepec de Morelos obtuvo el t\u00edtulo de \u201cCiudad Heroica\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La distinci\u00f3n fue entregada en la Casa de Morelos, durante la conmemoraci\u00f3n del 206 aniversario de la fundaci\u00f3n del municipio. Ah\u00ed, la alcaldesa Azucena Cisneros Coss recibi\u00f3 un pergamino en piel emitido por la Asociaci\u00f3n Nacional de Cronistas de Comunidades y Ciudades Mexicanas (ANACCIM), que avala ambos reconocimientos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El peso simb\u00f3lico del nombramiento recae en la memoria hist\u00f3rica del territorio. La cronista municipal, Ang\u00e9lica Rivero L\u00f3pez, record\u00f3 que el 22 de diciembre de 1815 marc\u00f3 un antes y un despu\u00e9s para Ecatepec: ese d\u00eda, en Acalhuacan, fue ejecutado Morelos, uno de los pilares de la Independencia. \u201cSu muerte no es un hecho menor: es un s\u00edmbolo que nos obliga a reflexionar sobre el valor y la deuda hist\u00f3rica con este territorio\u201d, sostuvo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desde esa perspectiva, el presidente nacional de la ANACCIM, Gabriel Guerrero Romero, subray\u00f3 que el car\u00e1cter heroico no se decreta, sino que se construye con la memoria colectiva, los actos de resistencia y la identidad de sus habitantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En su intervenci\u00f3n, Cisneros Coss vincul\u00f3 el reconocimiento con el presente del municipio. Se\u00f1al\u00f3 que, tras d\u00e9cadas de rezago, Ecatepec busca reposicionarse con acciones concretas: m\u00e1s de mil obras ejecutadas en el primer a\u00f1o de gobierno y una proyecci\u00f3n cercana a las 3 mil para el actual. \u201cToda la gloria hist\u00f3rica se opac\u00f3 por a\u00f1os de abandono, pero eso se termin\u00f3\u201d, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La alcaldesa tambi\u00e9n adelant\u00f3 que se promover\u00e1n nuevos procesos para declarar otros puntos emblem\u00e1ticos de los nueve pueblos del municipio como zonas de inter\u00e9s hist\u00f3rico, con el objetivo de preservar su legado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante la ceremonia, autoridades estatales y municipales respaldaron el acto, incluida Daniela Eugenia Hern\u00e1ndez, representante de la gobernadora Delfina G\u00f3mez \u00c1lvarez, quien reiter\u00f3 la coordinaci\u00f3n institucional para fortalecer el bienestar social.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como parte del proceso, se integr\u00f3 la publicaci\u00f3n \u201cCiudad Heroica, San Crist\u00f3bal Ecatepec de Morelos\u201d, que re\u00fane el sustento historiogr\u00e1fico y documental que deriv\u00f3 en la declaratoria. El evento cerr\u00f3 con la fotograf\u00eda oficial frente a la placa que consagra el nuevo estatus del municipio y del barrio donde la historia nacional dej\u00f3 una de sus huellas m\u00e1s profundas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
