COACALCO, M\u00c9X.\u2014 La escena fue poco habitual: hombres formados no para consultas generales, sino para someterse a un procedimiento definitivo de planificaci\u00f3n familiar. En la Cl\u00ednica del DIF de la Cabecera Municipal de Coacalco, m\u00e1s de 100 vasectom\u00edas se realizaron durante una segunda jornada coordinada entre el DIF local y el Instituto de Salud del Estado de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El operativo m\u00e9dico, respaldado por un equipo de m\u00e1s de 10 especialistas, permiti\u00f3 atender de forma simult\u00e1nea a decenas de pacientes que optaron por este m\u00e9todo anticonceptivo permanente, caracterizado por ser r\u00e1pido, seguro y sin bistur\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al frente de la estrategia, Erubey Espinoza Castillo subray\u00f3 que la articulaci\u00f3n entre instancias municipales, estatales y federales ha sido clave para llevar servicios gratuitos a la poblaci\u00f3n. Afirm\u00f3 que una de las directrices de Mar\u00eda de Lourdes Gonz\u00e1lez Ocampo es priorizar la salud p\u00fablica con \u00e9nfasis en la planificaci\u00f3n familiar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desde el enfoque m\u00e9dico, se insisti\u00f3 en desmontar mitos: la vasectom\u00eda sin bistur\u00ed no afecta la vida sexual ni implica riesgos mayores. El procedimiento permite retomar actividades cotidianas en un lapso de dos d\u00edas, aunque se recomienda evitar esfuerzo f\u00edsico y relaciones sexuales durante la primera semana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entre los asistentes, Esteban T\u00e9llez relat\u00f3 que lleg\u00f3 con nervios, pero sali\u00f3 convencido de la decisi\u00f3n tras un proceso \u00e1gil y con atenci\u00f3n \u201cexcelente\u201d por parte del personal m\u00e9dico. Consider\u00f3 que este tipo de iniciativas tambi\u00e9n coloca en la agenda la salud masculina, un rubro que pocas veces recibe campa\u00f1as espec\u00edficas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La jornada forma parte de una pol\u00edtica que busca dar a las personas control sobre el n\u00famero y espaciamiento de sus hijos, al tiempo que contribuye a reducir embarazos no planeados y pr\u00e1cticas de riesgo asociadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
