HUIXQUILUCAN, M\u00c9X.\u2014 M\u00e1s de 27 mil metros cuadrados de brechas cortafuego fueron habilitados en zonas estrat\u00e9gicas de Huixquilucan como medida preventiva frente al riesgo de incendios forestales durante la temporada de calor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las acciones se concentraron en comunidades como San Jacinto, en el paraje Cerro de Los Padres; San Juan Yautepec, en Tetela; y La Ca\u00f1ada, en Plaza de Gallos. De manera complementaria, la Brigada Forestal realiz\u00f3 recorridos en \u00e1reas consideradas de alto riesgo, entre ellas Monte de las Cruces, en San Juan Yautepec; Cerro del Manzano, en Santa Cruz Ayotuxco; y Cerro del Caballete, en Piedra Grande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La presidenta municipal, Romina Contreras Carrasco, explic\u00f3 que la apertura de estas franjas implica la remoci\u00f3n de material combustible \u2014principalmente hojas secas\u2014 para establecer per\u00edmetros que frenen la propagaci\u00f3n del fuego en caso de siniestro. \u201cLa apertura de las brechas cortafuego no es solo una medida ambiental, sino un pilar de Protecci\u00f3n Civil, pues ayuda a resguardar la seguridad de la poblaci\u00f3n y su patrimonio\u201d, subray\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las labores fueron ejecutadas por la Brigada Forestal adscrita a la Direcci\u00f3n General de Desarrollo Agropecuario y Forestal. La alcaldesa precis\u00f3 que, desde el inicio de su administraci\u00f3n, se fortalecieron las estrategias preventivas ante las altas temperaturas y el estiaje, condiciones que elevan el riesgo de incendios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Huixquilucan cuenta con siete mil 500 hect\u00e1reas de superficie boscosa, por lo que, adem\u00e1s de las brechas, se desarrollan jornadas de reforestaci\u00f3n para mitigar afectaciones derivadas de posibles conflagraciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El gobierno municipal exhort\u00f3 a la poblaci\u00f3n a evitar arrojar colillas de cigarro, f\u00f3sforos o botellas de vidrio, no encender fogatas y abstenerse de utilizar herramientas el\u00e9ctricas o de combusti\u00f3n en pasto seco. En caso de emergencia, est\u00e1n disponibles los n\u00fameros 55 5291 6064 del Cuerpo de Bomberos; (55) 3605 1439, 1440 y 1441, as\u00ed como 55 5290 6064 y 55 8284 2237 del Centro de Mando; adem\u00e1s del 55 5949 3799 de la Coordinaci\u00f3n Municipal de Protecci\u00f3n Civil y la aplicaci\u00f3n m\u00f3vil SayVU, disponible en Android y iOS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
