ECATEPEC, M\u00c9X.\u2013 En un acto de reconocimiento institucional y atenci\u00f3n a v\u00edctimas, la Presidenta Municipal de Ecatepec, Azucena Cisneros Coss, emiti\u00f3 una disculpa p\u00fablica a nombre del Ayuntamiento por la muerte de un ciudadano derivada del uso excesivo de la fuerza por parte de polic\u00edas municipales, hechos registrados el 17 de enero de 2020, durante la administraci\u00f3n 2019-2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La ceremonia se llev\u00f3 a cabo en el Sal\u00f3n de los 9 Pueblos del Palacio Municipal, ante familiares directos de la v\u00edctima, as\u00ed como representantes de la Comisi\u00f3n de Derechos Humanos del Estado de M\u00e9xico (Codhem) y autoridades jur\u00eddicas municipales, como parte del cumplimiento de la Recomendaci\u00f3n 10\/2024 emitida por dicho organismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante su mensaje, la alcaldesa subray\u00f3 que el gobierno municipal asume plenamente su responsabilidad institucional, aun cuando los hechos no ocurrieron en la actual administraci\u00f3n, y reconoci\u00f3 el impacto irreversible que tuvo la actuaci\u00f3n policial en la vida de la v\u00edctima y su familia. Enfatiz\u00f3 que ninguna circunstancia justifica la violaci\u00f3n a los derechos humanos y que este tipo de conductas no deben repetirse bajo ninguna condici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Azucena Cisneros lament\u00f3 que administraciones anteriores no hayan atendido oportunamente la recomendaci\u00f3n de la Codhem, incluida la disculpa p\u00fablica, y asegur\u00f3 que su gobierno dar\u00e1 cumplimiento integral a las medidas establecidas, entre ellas capacitaci\u00f3n obligatoria en derechos humanos para polic\u00edas y servidores p\u00fablicos, as\u00ed como las acciones de reparaci\u00f3n correspondientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La presidenta municipal destac\u00f3 que los responsables fueron sancionados por las autoridades judiciales del Estado de M\u00e9xico, lo que confirma que los hechos no quedaron impunes, y reiter\u00f3 que su administraci\u00f3n estar\u00e1 siempre del lado de las v\u00edctimas y de la legalidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por su parte, la esposa de la v\u00edctima acept\u00f3 la disculpa p\u00fablica como un acto de reconocimiento institucional y se\u00f1al\u00f3 que, si bien nada puede devolver la vida de su familiar, este acto debe traducirse en verdad, justicia y garant\u00edas reales de no repetici\u00f3n. Reconoci\u00f3 la voluntad pol\u00edtica del actual gobierno municipal para atender la recomendaci\u00f3n y visibilizar un caso que marc\u00f3 a su familia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con este acto, el Gobierno de Ecatepec, encabezado por Azucena Cisneros Coss, refrenda su compromiso con los derechos humanos, la rendici\u00f3n de cuentas y la construcci\u00f3n de una polic\u00eda y un servicio p\u00fablico al servicio de la ciudadan\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
