Durante el evento, se destac\u00f3 el importante legado del ingeniero en la lucha pol\u00edtica, social y democr\u00e1tica del pa\u00eds, resaltando su incansable labor desde la trinchera de la izquierda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La f\u00f3rmula al Senado conformada por Mariela Guti\u00e9rrez Escalante e Higinio Mart\u00ednez, junto a los hijos del ingeniero, Laura Itzel y Javier Castillo Ju\u00e1rez, recordaron la trayectoria pol\u00edtica del ingeniero y su visi\u00f3n progresista que fortaleci\u00f3 el movimiento de izquierda en M\u00e9xico. Guti\u00e9rrez Escalante lo calific\u00f3 como uno de los m\u00e1ximos referentes de la lucha por la democracia y los principios, destacando su participaci\u00f3n en movimientos sociales determinantes para la configuraci\u00f3n del M\u00e9xico contempor\u00e1neo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En su intervenci\u00f3n, Laura Itzel Castillo afirm\u00f3 que todos son herederos del movimiento de izquierda que su padre sembr\u00f3, destacando su compromiso con el desarrollo tecnol\u00f3gico y su habilidad para enfrentar retos con visi\u00f3n social.
