IZCALLI, M\u00c9X.\u2014 El presidente municipal, Daniel Serrano Palacios, aclar\u00f3 que el desabasto de agua registrado en San Mateo Ixtacalco no se debe a falta del recurso, sino a una deficiente gesti\u00f3n por parte del Comit\u00e9 Aut\u00f3nomo que administraba el sistema local, cuya operaci\u00f3n qued\u00f3 temporalmente bajo control del gobierno municipal.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante su conferencia semanal <\/strong>\u201cEl Poder del Pueblo\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, Serrano explic\u00f3 que el pozo San Lorenzo, que abastece a esta comunidad, tiene capacidad para suministrar hasta un mill\u00f3n 382 mil litros diarios, cantidad suficiente para cubrir cuatro veces la demanda de los 3 mil 500 habitantes de la zona, estimada en 350 mil litros al d\u00eda seg\u00fan las recomendaciones internacionales.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNosotros no tenemos ning\u00fan inter\u00e9s separatista ni de confrontaci\u00f3n, pero s\u00ed es importante aclarar que el problema no fue la falta de agua, sino la mala administraci\u00f3n del sistema\u201d, subray\u00f3 el alcalde.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

El edil record\u00f3 que, tras la creaci\u00f3n del municipio de Cuautitl\u00e1n Izcalli en 1973, San Mateo Ixtacalco qued\u00f3 dividido entre este territorio y Cuautitl\u00e1n M\u00e9xico, manteniendo su propio comit\u00e9 de agua. Sin embargo, el abasto ha estado a cargo del organismo Operagua Izcalli, que desde entonces entrega el recurso para su distribuci\u00f3n interna.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para resolver de fondo el conflicto, se alcanz\u00f3 un acuerdo de colaboraci\u00f3n entre los gobiernos de Cuautitl\u00e1n Izcalli, Cuautitl\u00e1n M\u00e9xico, la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional del Agua (CONAGUA) y la Comisi\u00f3n de Agua del Estado de M\u00e9xico (CAEM).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

El convenio establece que Operagua y la Direcci\u00f3n de Agua Potable de Cuautitl\u00e1n asumir\u00e1n temporalmente la operaci\u00f3n del sistema hidr\u00e1ulico, mientras se corrigen las deficiencias t\u00e9cnicas y se capacita al comit\u00e9 local para garantizar un servicio eficiente.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
