-La senadora Mariela Guti\u00e9rrez llam\u00f3 a reforzar medidas de seguridad tras recientes accidentes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CIUDAD DE M\u00c9XICO.- La senadora mexiquense Mariela Guti\u00e9rrez Escalante, presidenta de la Comisi\u00f3n de Zonas Metropolitanas y Movilidad, adelant\u00f3 que el Senado impulsar\u00e1 un an\u00e1lisis profundo del marco legal que regula el transporte de combustibles y materiales peligrosos, con el objetivo de establecer mayores restricciones de seguridad en zonas urbanas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El pronunciamiento de la legisladora se dio durante los festejos por el Bicentenario de Tec\u00e1mac, donde lament\u00f3 los accidentes recientes, como la explosi\u00f3n de una pipa de gas en la alcald\u00eda Iztapalapa, que ponen en evidencia la urgencia de reforzar las normas para estas unidades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guti\u00e9rrez Escalante subray\u00f3 que los percances con pipas y dobles remolques que trasladan sustancias inflamables son recurrentes en las carreteras del pa\u00eds, y cuando ocurren en \u00e1reas urbanas representan un riesgo mayor para la poblaci\u00f3n, al provocar explosiones, volcaduras o colapsos de infraestructura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De acuerdo con estad\u00edsticas de la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada, alrededor de 50 personas han perdido la vida y casi 200 m\u00e1s han resultado heridas en M\u00e9xico debido a choques de pipas de gas, sin contar los incidentes relacionados con qu\u00edmicos y combustibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La senadora record\u00f3 que en 2022 se aprob\u00f3 la Ley General de Movilidad y Seguridad Vial, dise\u00f1ada para reducir siniestros viales y garantizar un acceso seguro al transporte. No obstante, cit\u00f3 cifras de la Organizaci\u00f3n Panamericana de la Salud que muestran que, pese a los avances, M\u00e9xico registr\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 16 mil muertes por accidentes de tr\u00e1nsito en 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNecesitamos un trabajo conjunto entre comisiones, dependencias y gobiernos locales que impida que este tipo de veh\u00edculos de alto riesgo crucen por ciudades y poblaciones sin las condiciones adecuadas\u201d, afirm\u00f3 Guti\u00e9rrez Escalante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
